Work oh work

I returned to work this week.  I managed to keep up my ritual of eating breakfast and jogging.  I jog a mile a day and wake up an extra hour to eat and jog.  I feel healthy.  I haven't given up.  Yep, this lazy ass has not given up.  I'm surprising myself!

It's been nice not to be jailed at home but I return home so cranky and tired.  Wen I'm not tired, vincent won't sleep unless I hug him to sleep.  If he doesn't sleep at night, someone would have to hold him.  So, I'm forced to sleep early.

Every other person I meet at work has been welcoming me back.  Never have I felt so popular.  Lol.  It'll be so hard to do my phone interview with BofA next week.  Anything for more money!  I doubt they will give me more though

Cradle cap

The condition is no joke.  Vincent is rubbing his face because of eczema and he is scratching his head and pulling his hair because of severe cradle cap.

I'm avoiding overloading on hydrocortisone but poor thing!  Rob and I always joked that our kid would be hyper sensitive but I was hoping that vincent would be unaffected.  Come to think about it - maybe we should get a puppy asap!  I'm not ready for the commitment but Vincent will most likely have the craziest allergies.

Don't frown at Vincent

The funniest thing happened a few days ago.  Vincent was frowning at Rob and Rob did the same. When vincent saw how unhappy Rob was, he cried.  Hehe.

Vincent got tricked!

We've had lots of festivities this week.  It's Lunar New Year.  Vincent's godparents came to visit from Vancouver and New York.  We even had a BBQ.  No wonder Vincent was awake for a 12 hour stretch and refused to sleep.  This cute little one wasn't fussing; he was simply too excited and wanted to play all night long.  I even tried to nurse so he is comatose, but nope, nothing worked!  If you try to rock him to sleep, he will yell.

Finally, I gave up and laid him on his bedside sleeper.  He didn't make a sound so I proceeded to make our lights dimmer and dimmer.  When I walked to the last light switch , avoiding all squeaks on our new hardwood floor, his eyes followed me.  And swoosh, the last light was out.  I was observing in the dark for about a minute and he was kicking in his bed.  Finally, I was so sleepy that I fell asleep, thinking that I'll get a power nap before he cries... But nope!! 2 hours later, I woke up and learned that he fell asleep too!
